The SoftColor-developed PhotoEQ application makes it very easy to fix common problems that affect digital images. With this user friendly Windows application, you can perform various editing functions on an image or on several images at once (batch editing). You can adjust the colors, rotate, crop, resize, sharpen, denoise, and remove red eyes from the image or images of your choosing.

A simple setup wizard will help you install PhotoEQ on your Windows-powered machine – that’s any 32 or 64-bit edition from Windows XP onward. If you’ve installed an application before, you shouldn’t have any problems installing this one. The entire process will go along smoothly and will take very little of your time. Speaking about that, after you install PhotoEQ, you have 10 days at your disposal to use the application for free and determine if you want to purchase a license or not.

When you launch PhotoEQ, you will be presented with a dark window that invites you to drop images or folders on it. You could drag and drop an image to load it into the application, or you could use the Get Images button in the upper left hand corner. After you load an image, you will be presented with a window that displays a before-and-after view of the image and, at the bottom, lists all the editing functions you can take advantage of. And if you load more than one image, there will also be a to-do queue down at the bottom of the interface.

Using PhotoEQ is an incredibly simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – load an image or a bunch of images into the PhotoEQ application. Do this with the Get Images button or by simply dragging and dropping the images onto the application.
Step 2 – select the editing functions you want. As already mentioned, you’re presented with the following editing features: colors, rotate, crop, resize, sharpen, denoise, and remove red eyes.
Step 3 – save the edited image or batch save multiple images.

Easily and quickly fix image problems with the help of SoftColor’s PhotoEQ application.

Pros

Little time and effort goes into getting PhotoEQ up and running. Drag and drop images to load them into the application. You are presented with multiple editing functions. Batch save images.

Cons

Free to use for a trial period of 10 days.
